Casa Grande Website Remake
I tried to find a good looking green because the school's green can sometimes not be so attractive. I wanted the website to be bright and welcoming. I also didn't want the website to loose some things so families didn't feel lost when they came on the website and have to relearn were all the buttons are. Most of the tabs on the first page are the same. Just arranged them differently so they are more appealing to the eye. However, I did add a small calender to the front page so its not hard to find and its up to date with things parents have to know without having to log in and take up some of their time.
The second page shows what students or parents would see when they log in. The bottom half of the page is were the classes are. By putting your mouse over the button the homework that is due the upcoming class is shown. Also any announcements from the teacher are shown. And below that is space in case you have any questions for your teacher. You don't even have to know her email. Just simply put in your name, message, and subject to send right off.

Proximity
I tried to keep each one simple enough so it doesn't confuse the eye and clear to understand.
Type Face
For the typeface project I chose "El Dasa" who is a famous Latin singer and used tittles of his songs, his sponsors, and date and or ages that were significant in his life. Every out line or line consists of all those words that are shown bellow the picture. His jacket was striped so I put an under color and created the stripes with really small font text. His hat also consists of all those words formed to make the shape of the hat. I also used the same background and color so the words wouldn't mash up together and look like a confusing collage. For the majority of the typeface I used the pen tool and then wrote on the line.
